Gem Art Jewelry / Silver Faces Collection

Helen’s Silver Faces jewelry collection grew out of the artwork she created for the bases of her gem sculptures. Each of Helen’s Silver Faces is hand-carved by her by hand in wax, and then cast as one-of-a-kind pieces in gold or sterling silver. The Silver Faces are a combination of solemn and exaggerated faces, woven against a background of twisted and gnarled tree roots, inspired by Helen’s 1985 trip to Singapore and her encounter with mangrove trees.
