Carved Gems / Maya Jade Collection

The Maya Jade Collection was inspired by Helen’s trips to Mexico and Guatemala, where she visited archaeological sites, museums, galleries and contemporary jade workshops. The collection celebrates jade, the gem material that was revered in the Maya world. Helen’s jewelry and carved gems in this collection feature the rare and beautiful lavender jadeite and the black “Galactic Gold” jade from Guatemala. The lavender jade jewelry is designed and set with natural-color baroque cultured pearls, rare sugarcane emeralds from Brazil, and tanzanite beads, creating a serene pastel tone combination.
